It is also very comfortable when moving the mouse while I was playing games.Īs I move between camera angles, it is a lot easier for me to change angles in which I can react to gunfire from an enemy much quicker. So I test the mouse with games like Player Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG), Destiny 2 and League Of Legends, I would say that the movement of the mouse is very smooth without any noticeable lag. I would say that tuning with the mousepad improved the precision and responsiveness of the mouse than the default preset which is kinda impressive. Out of curiosity, I tried 3 types of surfaces to tune, my mousepad, the desk, and a book.

All you have to do is open the Logitech Gaming Software and follow the instructions given. This might be a disappointment to some hardcore gamers who wanted high dpi settings above 12000.Īnother special feature is that the G502 Spectrum can be automatically tuned on any surface, either a desk or your own mousepad to get the best tracking accuracy of the mouse.
The range of dpi of the G502 Spectrum mouse is from 200(min) to 12000(max). The Logitech Gaming Software also allows you to manually change your dpi to your own preference. You can customize and save your own settings in the profile section which has only 3 profiles to choose from. There are three types of lighting effect, fixed color, color cycle(fades from color to color) and breathing effect(not much difference as the fixed color effect).
However, you can only do that using the Logitech Gaming Software which you can set any color to your liking. One of the special features of the G502 Spectrum mouse is that is has a customizable RGB which is at the LED portion of the G logo on the main body of the mouse. If you want you can increase the weight of the mouse by adding a magnetic cover at the bottom of the mouse to feel more weight towards your palm which honestly does not really affect the mouse performance whatsoever. The weight of the mouse is 4.3 oz which is heavier than most of its competitors. The two buttons beside the left-click button are the sensitivity adjustment buttons which can increase or decrease the dpi. There are no buttons on the right side of the mouse which means this mouse is only for right-handed users only so for left-handed users is kinda like a bummer. There is also a silver dpi indicator which is kinda neat. The mouse on the left side contains the forward and back buttons and a DPI shift button. It also has a scroll wheel which at first when I spin the wheel it continuously spins which caught me off guard at first until I realized that the scroll wheel setting can be changed by clicking the top button beneath the mouse wheel to set the hyper-fast scrolling (default) or the click-to-click precision setting. There are 11 programmable buttons, with each button that can be manually changed to your liking using their Logitech Gaming Software.
